Hello there Falcon View! My name is Lisa Van Wyk – Visual Arts! I have been teaching art since 2006 and have had the joy of working with students of all grade levels, from elementary through high school. In addition to teaching, I am a practicing visual artist specializing in oil painting and mosaics.
My teaching philosophy centers around fostering creativity, encouraging exploration, and helping students gain confidence in expressing their unique artistic voices. Outside the classroom, I love gardening, camping, and, of course, creating art of my own.
